| An
educational fund established in 1994 in memory of Mr.
Roy E. Heinecke, the father of Mr. William E. Heinecke,
CEO of the Minor Group. The Scholarship is originally
and privately intended and financially supported by
the Heinecke Family. This private fund offers scholarship
programmes to children and young adults and is financially
supported by the Heinecke family.
The late Mr. Roy E.
Heinecke spent many years serving the U.S. Embassy in
the Asia-Pacific region. Being exposed to the cultures
and the way of living in these countries inspired wish
for all deserving youngsters to have the advantage of
more education. The Heineckes family established this
scholarship fund to help fulfill this worthy wish.
Objectives:
• To be the educational fund for students who
show potential academically and are financially disadvantage.
• To participate in public charity activities
or cooperate with other public charity organizations.
• To refrain from involvement in any political
organization.
As the fund grows larger,
it was agreed to be registered as Roy E. Heinecke Scholarship
Foundation on 3rd May 2000 located at No.99 Berli Jucker
Building, 16th floor, Soi Rubia Sukhumvit 42 Road, Prakanong
Sub-district, Klongtoey District Bangkok.
Committee:
The Scholarship Foundation Committee consists of members
of the Heinecke Family and other designated persons.

The Committee will administer the foundation and select
the scholarship students under the regulations of the
National Culture Committee ( Thailand )
Sources of Fund:
In addition to the Heineckes’ main contribution
as founder of the Foundation, other sources include
:
• Income from the sale of the book: “The
Entrepreneur” (by Mr. William E. Heinecke , published
by John Wiley & sons asia pte ltd.2005)
• Personal financial contributors by friends of
the Heineckes
• Any interested persons who generously contact
the Committee to make a contribution.
Between 1994 and 2007 a total of 405 scholarship awards
(amounting to Baht 2,670,600) have been awarded to students
selected of achieving good academic grades and demonstrating
good behavior.
Scholarships granted to the selected students who possess
good behavior and good school grades from 1994 to 2007
totally 405 awards at the total amount of Baht 2,670,600.
