the Pizza Company
The Pizza Company is now beginning its expansion in Thailand and selected international markets around the world. We are seeking franchisees with strong operating
backgrounds and a passion for the restaurant industry with
the necessary financial resources to develop and operate pizza
restaurants in their respective markets. We can offer excellent
field support, assistance in site selection, restaurant design,
and equipment sourcing and marketing together with training
from people only too familiar with the challenges of starting
a new concept.

Our decision to build our own brand was based both on
our long
experience as food service operator in Asia
and our study of other pizza
brands available in the market.
The world is full of pizza brands, however, most of the
better known brands are in fact quite limited because
they usually have only a delivery concept. Our experience
tells us that this critical limitation in developing economies
leaves out the dine-in segment, which is both
the largest segment of the overall market and the segment
where you can offer the greatest differentiation among
competitors. |
A successful delivery business is built on either a broad
and long established Italian food tradition in the market
or a successful dine-in concept that later offers delivery
to cater to changing consumer preferences normally associated
with higher disposable incomes and rapid economic growth. Developing economies normally
lack these attributes and this is why we have multiple concepts
for the dine-in, take away and delivery segments to build
market presence across all channels.
In addition to the physical assets, most pizza brands lack
depth in the people and broad corporate understanding and
experience of building brands in developing markets. Unlike
more developed economies with a long heritage of eating Italian
food, most developing economics require more than just a sign
over the door to become successful. Everything from the taste
profile, decor, supply chain, marketing and operations must
be tailored to the specific market. To successfully do this,
you must have firsthand experience in similar market conditions,
and your own survey of pizza brands will find most
lacking in these attributes.
One thing that we do share with truly successful brands is
our commitment to a true partnership in developing new locations
and markets. Strong franchisees bring with them energy, vitality
and innovation to take already excellent brands the extra
distance to become truly world-class and leaders in their
